Larry Turner has over 25 years experience growing, starting up, repositioning, and revitalizing organizations.  Roundhouse Advisors is a business consulting firm focused on helping businesses increase enterprise value by managing pain, growth and owner exits.  Larry is the author of the book Owner Exit Planning: Leave on Your Own Term, a reference for business owners to help them increase the value of their business and attractiveness for sale.

Larry has experience in a wide range of vertical markets and industries, while improving operations and sales in companies like Bell & Howell, Canon, and BancTec.  He holds a BS in Marketing from DePaul University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.

Richard Mogan, PMP,  Director of Process Engineering, ViaWest

ViaWest is a leading provider of data center and managed hosting services.

He is responsible for developing and leading all transformational changes for the organization.  After extensive experiences at United Parcel Service in various areas of domestic and global operations, Richard became the Director of Global Access Planning at Level 3 Communications.  Richard has a long history of trouble shooting, designing and implementing new solutions.   He was referred to as “Corporate Wizard,” as his function at Level 3 was trouble-shooting and problem solving.

Richard has earned the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, is certified as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9000 leading over six successful site registrations and has a degree in Aerospace Science from Metropolitan State College.

Mark Eagle, CTO, VarVee, Inc

Mark S. Eagle’s passion is helping people and companies grow. He has enjoyed a successful career as a senior executive of small and mid-sized companies and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Eagle was co-founder and CEO of 21st Century School House, COO of College Partnership, EVP of Products and Services of Encoda Systems, and co-founder of Courtney Eagle Associates.

Mark helped Dice.com launch their online user forum and has been published in their Technical Job Search guide. He was also a founding member of the RPI Information Technology affinity group which launched an online networking site for alumni.   He has taught executive round tables on social networking and has a personal social network where he can view profiles of over 15 million business professionals. Currently he is CTO of VarVee Inc. where he is helping build the community for high school prep sports.

Mark’s talent is bridging the gap between technical and non-technical individuals and putting together solutions to solve business problems.

Mr. Eagle has a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute specializing in Computer Science and Industrial Psychology and has combined these diverse fields in his business career. He resides in Denver Colorado.

David Rosenthal, CEO Cyanotech

David Rosenthal has over twenty-five years of executive financial management experience.  Currently, Mr. Rosenthal is the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Cyanotech Corporation, a public company that manufactures, harvests and sells micro-algae products for the nutraceuticals marketplace.  Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Hickory Farms, Inc., a private company provider of specialty food and gift products.

Mr. Rosenthal has also served as Chief Financial Officer of SpectraLink Corporation, a manufacturer of wireless phone devices for the workplace with revenues of approximately $140 million, StarTek, Inc., a business process management company with revenues of approximately $250 million, and Celestial Seasonings, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of specialty tea products with revenues of approximately $120 million.

Mr. Rosenthal has a BS in Business Administration (emphasis Accounting) from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MBA from California State University.  He obtained his CPA license in California (currently inactive).

Mr. Rosenthal lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife and children.

Carol Ann Bartz, President, Wolverine Services, Inc.

Carol Ann Bartz is the President of Wolverine Services, LLC, an Alaskan-native tribally owned government services contracting company focused on facilities services. During her first two years with Wolverine, she grew the company from 3 employees and $300K in annual revenues to over 150 employees and $10.7M in revenues.

Ms. Bartz has 20 years of experience in government services contracting, primarily in the Information Technology sector of the Intelligence Community. Prior to her position with Wolverine Services, Ms. Bartz was part of the company-level Enterprise Operations team of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and was the Senior Manager for Process and Quality for the Intelligence Mission Solutions Line of Business.  With Veridian, Ms. Bartz was the Deputy Vice President of Network Operations, overseeing the operations of numerous federal government and commercial contracts, mentoring Program Managers to be prepared to take on larger challenges.   As the Program Manager for the $60M/year Communications, Operations and Maintenance Support contract for Veridian, she managed 780 employees at 16 locations including overseas and led the team to the highest award fee scores in the contract’s history.  Ms. Bartz also served in several management and technical roles with MRJ Technology Solutions.

With almost 15 years in Colorado, Ms. Bartz is involved in several non-profit organizations to include being the Chair of the Free Horizon Montessori Jefferson County Charter School Governance Committee and being Board Chairman and President of the FHM Building Corporation.

Ms. Bartz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Hofstra University and a Master of Arts degree in Computer Resource and Information Management from Webster University.

Preston Wilson, Ph.D. Principal, Cogent Business Advisors, L.L.C.

As an entrepreneur in both the healthcare and  technology sectors, he co-founded two companies, serving as president and CEO. As a key executive in these organizations, he spearheaded the raising of private capital, leading to the successful public offering of one of his companies, QualMark Corporation. One year following the IPO, QualMark was named by Deloitte Touche as one of the twenty five fastest growing technology companies based in Colorado.

He is a veteran organizer of fast growth enterprises, not only as a strategist but also as a highly successful team builder and implementer of business plans. Preston holds Masters and Doctorate degrees from Pepperdine University and Claremont Graduate University.
