About Nicole Heckers
Nicole Heckers, MA, BCPC (Board Certified in Professional Counseling by the APA) Life-Strategist, corporate trainer, researcher, counselor/therapist, public speaker, teacher, author, and small business owner, has worked as a consultant to various industries for over 10 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver.
Nicole has over 5 years of corporate training experience, consulting to top companies in a variety of industries.
Nicole Heckers graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of the Redlands in California, and with her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of Denver. In July of 2007, she was awarded Board Certification in Professional Counseling by the APA.
Nicole Heckers worked as a researcher for Denver’s Asian Pacific Development Center, and as a counseling therapist for Excelsior Youth Center, Maria Droste Services, the University of Denver and Yucaipa Teen Center. She worked as a counseling therapist and researcher at Synergy Day Treatment in Denver, CO.
Nicole Heckers has appeared on Denver’s WB Channel 2 as a career expert. She is co-director of the Jennifer Wu Fellowship Fund at Colorado Academy.
Nicole Heckers has provided training for and has worked with individuals from corporations and entities including Stryker, The City of Aurora, Chase Manhattan, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Medtronic, Prudential Financial, NetQuote, AMG Guaranty Trust, Qwest, FedEx, Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Gates Corp., Starz! Encore Media, Gilead Science, Lowe’s, The City of Greenwood Village, Jeppesen Sanderson, Lockheed Martin, United States Army, Merck Medco, Maxtor Corporation, Swallow Hill Music and many others.She is the Denver Career Coach representative for CONCERN EAP, a nationally recognized employee assistance program, and also does corporate training for clients of the same organization.
